About
Full-stack developer in Stockholm, born and raised here. I came out of KTH by way of a VR research project, spent six years consulting on large web platforms, and kept building things on the side the whole time: games, tools, this site.

Background
5 entries- 2024 - Present
Consultant · Alster Digital, at Falck (formerly Previa)
Built Sjuk- och Friskanmälan, the service 151,000 employees report sick through, and audited the platform around it against the European Accessibility Act. Svelte and React on the front, .NET and Optimizely behind it.
- 2021 - 2024
Developer · Alster Digital
Consulting across client projects: tech lead on BabyBjörn's storefront, now shipping to 35 countries in nine languages, component work for Tobii, and six months mentoring an intern through their first React codebase.
- 2019 - 2020
Research assistant · KTH, Speech, Music and Hearing
Virtual production research with Stockholm University of the Arts and Konstfack: VR tools for motion-capture acting, run as experiments with real actors. Published and presented at IEEE VR 2021.
- 2019 - 2020
Editor-in-Chief · Osqledaren, KTH's student magazine
Ran a team of thirty-odd writers, editors and designers against print deadlines. Most of what I know about typography and shipping on a fixed date, I learned here.
- 2014 - 2020
M.Sc. Computer Science and Engineering · KTH
Machine learning, speech technology, physical interaction design and game design, with an exchange year at Osaka University in 2017. Thesis on VR for motion capture, which turned into the job above.

I came into this from research and I have not finished with it. My thesis at KTH, and the IEEE VR paper that came out of it, asked what changes for an actor in motion capture once they can see the scene they are in and the co-actor they are playing against, at the right scale rather than as a tennis ball on a stick. The answer was that quite a lot changes, and that the performers could tell you why.
What holds my interest now is the same question pointed at the tools themselves: how virtual production and authoring tools change the craft of the people using them, how you evaluate that with practitioners rather than in a lab, and what accessibility work has to teach the field about designing for bodies that differ. Work that touches any of it interests me, in a research group or in a team building the things, and the full record is on the CV.
